The survival of a warrior depends on their weapons and fighting skills. The Path of Heart Mastery requires you to develop skills for battle that will transform you into a powerful warrior of the heart.

With a heart as strong and resilient as yours, now is the perfect time to heal and strengthen it from within. To achieve this, you will need to explore your unconscious beliefs, blocked emotions, and shadows that could prevent you from being your best, most loving, and most powerful self. The key is to let your heart light shine!

In this post, you will find numerous tips, actionable advice, and recommended resources to help you achieve this!

Let’s Get your Heart Light Shinning!

If your quiz results show that your heart is open, tender, and powerful, now is the perfect time to strengthen your heart from within by growing in compassion and love.

It’s time to prepare for the battle ahead by healing your heart, accepting your dark side, and becoming a more caring version of yourself. To help you with this, I have included several practical and actionable tips.

The Warrior Archetype

The Warrior Archetype represents a person whose past trauma, adversities, and painful life experiences have made them more compassionate, resilient, and strong.

Great warriors know their biggest battles will be fought and won first in the heart.

As a warrior, you must master your emotions and act in line with the laws of love. Compassion must become your armor and truth your sword.

The Warrior Archetype also represents the hero preparing to fight the dragon. The dragon is a metaphor for our human egos, or the limitations we put on ourselves.

Four Tips to Let Your Heart Shine

The following tips have proven helpful to me and to every client or student I’ve worked with. And they will for you too, IF you’re willing to put in the necessary work, time, and energy that they require.

Tip #1: Journaling Exercise

In a notebook or journal, write about what your heart is most longing for right now. Then, answer the following question:

How am I keeping all of these experiences away from me? What am I consciously or unconsciously doing that is blocking, denying, or delaying these experiences?

In my case, my heart was longing to have deeper, more loving relationships. So, I wrote pages and pages of notes about how my fear of intimacy and addiction to pornography were keeping me safe and unable to truly connect emotionally with others. The more I wrote, the more I became aware of how I needed to change. And the more I wrote, the lighter and clearer I began to feel.

I recommend you practice automatic writing, the technique of writing non-stop, without editing or paying attention to punctuation or grammar. Just write the first thing that comes to your mind. This technique helps bypass the conscious mind and allows unconscious material to begin to surface more easily.

Here are some questions to help you get started:

  • What is my heart longing for?
  • How am I keeping these experiences away from me?
  • How must I change or be different?
  • What must I let go of? What must I embrace?

After completing this exercise, take a moment to feel appreciation for yourself and the courage it took to face your feelings and uncover your truth. You have taken a big step towards becoming a true heart warrior!

Tip #2: Guided Meditations

The Sending Heart Energy to Others and Awakening the Christ Within guided meditations below will help you increase your heart’s capacity to radiate love to yourself and others around you. If you want to strengthen your heart, release old emotional blocks, and fully embrace your shadows, the key is increasing your levels of Heart Coherence.

Heart coherence is the term used by the institute of HeartMath to describe a state of psycho-physiological coherence in which all your bodily systems are working together, efficiently, and in harmony. The heart has its own neuronal network that always interacts with the part of the brain that controls the emotions and physiology of the body.
