This simple yet powerful prayer that calls upon the Will of God can be very beneficial. Saying it from a heart-centered space makes you available to receive Divine Wisdom and opens you to the unexpected and miraculous. This is far more effective than living in hopelessness and fearful expectations!
In times of crisis, many of us buckle down, prepare for the worst, and believe that through grit and determination alone will be able to weather the storm. We hope that if we follow certain steps, we’ll be able to take back control and fix whatever appears to be lost.
But these crisis moments are also an opportunity to deepen our connection with the Divine.
What if the sudden death of a loved one, illness, depression, pandemic fears, job loss, and breakdown in relationships or divorce are all an opportunity to draw us closer to God?
What if each crisis we face is an invitation to grow spiritually and become a more loving, forgiving, and compassionate version of ourselves?
Divine help is available to us at all times, but you won’t be able to discover it until you ask for it and become open and available to it. This requires surrender.
Surrender requires you to let go of your attachment to a specific outcome or wanting to control or fix the situation and allow Divine assistance to show you how to handle the crisis you’re experiencing.
To surrender to God, say, “God, I’ve done all I could about this situation. Please be with me and show me how to surrender and best handle this experience.”
“Please be with me and show me how to surrender and handle this experience.”
This simple yet powerful prayer that calls upon the Will of God can be very beneficial. Saying it from a heart-centered space makes you available to receive Divine Wisdom and opens you to the unexpected and miraculous. This is far more effective than living in hopelessness and fearful expectations!
The more you surrender to God in situations beyond your control, the more you depend on God instead of your ego. Moments of crisis get handled in ways you could have never expected.
From my heart to yours,
